9 ---- SUBJECTS ----

well, the things hat they are. Like a necklace and a bracelet. Mostly you can use the patterns for both, so to have more idea's look at the labels of a post, and in this case "7 wear jewelry" will give you more ideas.

WOOHOO, now I "only" have to transform the rest of the older labels, and the labour is finished. Yeaha  :-D

8 ---- GROUPS ----

it might be easy to track down groups like animals, foods and drinks and the dimension of flowers. Therefor I included this chapter

7 ---- PURPOSE ----

Here, you can find the purpose: is it something to decorate (like a painting), or to stock (like a box),

Baby: baby stuff, like a baby toy, or a baby hat
Décor: something to decorate, like a painting
Stock: to organise and stock things, like a box or a basket (bags fit into "wear")
Toy: toys like balls and huggables
Wear: things you can wear like sweaters, slippers, purses and jewelry

6 ---- FESTIVITIES ----

Here you can find stuff for festivities (you'd never would have guessed, would you, haha).

Hollidays of course, are included; but also labels as gift wraps and table trim , which can be used with a lot of hollidays, but I wont include a "ALSO SEE" after all those, they're neatly in one chapter, so I think it's obvious you might look at those too.

Only, flowers aren't really a festivity, but mostly are part of it. Thus: a "SEE" will be on it's place, to remind us.

4 ---- EMBELLISHMENTS ----

A lot of craft can be used to embellish bags, wearings, cards, ... . But instead of measuring it all, I thought it would be better to have special labels for it. But, since one only can have 200 characters in the label line, I had to be a little creative with its names. So:

4 trim card: flat, and little enough to glue on a card (A6, or A5 folded) embellishments, but not suitable to sew on fibre (fabric, or something you crocheted, or knitted, ...)
(ALSO SEE "trim pocket" to embellish a card)
4 trim pocket: like "trim card", but it can be sewed on fibre (and of course, glued or sewed on a card too)
4 trim hat: little 3D stuff which can be sewed on fibre, but are too bulky to glue on a card (like a 3D flower) and since mostly those things are sewed on a hat ...
(ALSO SEE "trim pocket" to see the flat ones)
4 trim bag: bigger flat stuff which can be sewed on fibre. (and if you really want to embellish a bag or something,
(ALSO SEE "trim pocket" to see the smaller ones, and at "trim hat" to see the more dimensional stuff)
4 trim scrapbook: like "trim card", but the bigger ones, which can be used in a scrapbook (a whole A4 page)
(ALSO SEE "trim card", "trim pocket", and "trim bag")
4 trim key: all non flat little things which can be used on a keychain; things to embellish and recognise a travel bag, a school bag, ... or just a little gift, for example; but not the "trim hat" stuff.

4 trim bag ALSO see "4 trim pocket" and "4 trim hat" and "3 counted"
4 trim card ALSO see "4 trim pocket" and "3 counted"
4 trim hat ALSO see "4 trim pocket" and "3 counted"
4 trim scrapbook ALSO see "4 trim card" and "4 trim pocket" and "4 trim bag" and "3 counted"

3 ---- SPECIALS ----

3 amigurumi: in fact, it only means a little, cute - knitted or crocheted - stuffed - puppet or animal; but then, where would I categorise a crocheted tea-cup and a knitted cell phone? So, to me, it involves all knitted or crocheted stuffed stuff.
3 comment: like this post: some explanation or things I wanted to say, but, by exception: no free instructions.
3 counted: a counted pattern can be used for many a things, even if it's made for filet crochet, you can use it as a cross stitch pattern, or for tapestry crochet, or ...
3 edging: to embellish a handkerchief, doily, towel, ... crochet or knit or ... a nice edging
3 embellishments: will be on a separate chapter, to keep the overview: see "4 ---- EMBELLISHMENTS ----"
3 granny: yarn tile: a little figure, mostly a square, made out of yarn, which can be sewed together to become a blanket, a cushion, ...
3 picture: a picture may be used for many purposes, it may be transformed in a window paint, you can use it in a card design, embroider it,  ... and mostly you can give it to a child to color it  ;-)
3 plarn: or plastic yarn: most stuff made of yarn can be made with plarn too, but since not that many people know it, and are curious to know what really can be made out of it, I give it an extra label. (for special people with a strange mom, like my son: normal yarn is recycled sheep, and can also be used with patterns for plarn) ((the poor kid, when I'm crocheting plarn outdoors, and people come closer to watch and ask what material I'm working with, I can see the question in his eyes: "are they from Mars or what ?". But last week I was crocheting baby shoes with regular soft yarn, HE came looking closer, and asked with what strange matereal I was working with, LOL. ))
3 site: blogs, sites and searches, where you can find more free patterns. It's impossible to put ALL links on my blog, and I can't include links with copyrighted pictures, and I only include links when there's a pattern. But with the links, you can surf and search for more. But remember while surfing, we people need some sleep too, LOL  ;-)

2 ---- OTHER CRAFTS ----

I still couldn't come up with another title, but as I allready wrote, it covers the load doesn't it  ;-)

some explanation:
DIY: is a Do It Yourself craft, don't know yet if I'm going to keep that
SEE: some labels could be described in several ways, but since only 20 labels and 200 characters are allowed, and I still want all items to be found, I solved it by introducing "empty" labels, so you can still find "bead crochet", even if I catogarised it under "crochet beads"

label-reorganisation take 3

Grrrr, I still have problems with "sorry, but you only can use 20 labels or a total of 200 characters". I'm starting to understand why all the blogs I've seen don't use chapters. But at the moment, I ... still ... don't ... want ... to ... give ... up !!!!

I've tried to think different now, imagined on which labels people and I would search. For a start, I don't think anybody would ever do a search on language, or the sort of post. It is helpfull information, but it can be included in the post itself.

- language: I think most of you would want to see all posts of a certain label, and if you really want to make it, you can allways ask me for a translation. I allready have used a different color for Dutch, so in fact, there's no need at all for a language label  :-)

- sort of post: most of them can be included in the post itself, except for the "blogs and sites", "comment" and "tip", they must be included in another chapter.
-tip: at the moment I have but one post with a "tip" label, (with for example: if you want to make a cushion, also look at the labels "stitches" and "granny's"); and though it isn't an instructable on itself, it leads to many usable ones. I think I just may omit this one.

- size: I don't think you really would do a search on size, except when you are looking for a flat embellishment for a card, or on something to wear; or if you want something little 3D for a key-chain for example. Maybe a chapter "general", which will also  include the former "basic", and some labels as "embellish fibre" will do. The sizes of wearables must be included in the post itself too, after all, with some stitches more or less, you get a different size.

And, snif, the "- ShirleyGreeny creation" is way too long, got to come up with something shorter.

label-reorganisation take 2

Sorry folks, but I'm still not happy with my label organisation, the labeling kept me from posting, it's too complicated: too many numbers and stripes. But since labels order themself alphabetically, there have to be numbers.
While I'm figuring it out, the chapter-labels may be in a strange order, and there will be some try-outs. At the moment, I'm beaten by the alphabet: having 1 number and a title like "5---- PURPOSE -----", all ordens fine. But when I want subtitles like "5- DECORATION" and chapters like "5- decorate desk", the alphabet places the subtitles at the end. This is not my idea of titles, titles should be on top. Putting an extra space in the subtitles results in first a list with ALL the subtitles, then the chapters, grr.
Another idea is skipping the subtitles, and have labels as "5- decorate desk" and "5- decorate kitchen". Not bad, wouldn't it be I don't like labels as "5- hollidays Christmas" ...

If anyone has a solution, please help, just click that litle "reaction" thingy left under this post, and tell me !!!
In the meanwhile I'll keep thinking. I WILL find a solution, if not sooner, it'll be later, nah.
